The Toughbook CF-33 MK4 is a fully rugged detachable 2-in-1, and this configuration adds an embedded 1D/2D barcode reader plus a contactless smartcard reader. Scanning evidence tags, asset labels, and IDs happens on the device itself — nothing to dock, pair, or replace when it gets dropped.
Data capture built in: Integrated 1D/2D barcode reader and contactless smartcard reader — evidence logging, asset tracking, inventory, and secure sign-on without external hardware.
Scanning and authentication
The CF-33 platform is built to be tailored and serviced in the field. Options (sold separately unless noted) include:
- Detachable keyboard base for tablet or full laptop operation
- User-replaceable battery, RAM, SSD, and keyboard
- Vehicle dock compatibility (Havis, Gamber-Johnson)
- Expanded storage support up to 2TB
- Smartcard, fingerprint, and NFC authentication options
User-replaceable components keep fleets in service and extend lifecycle value across large deployments.
Note: This configuration is Wi-Fi and Bluetooth only. Cellular broadband and GPS are available on other CF-33 configurations.
