Built to work anywhere
Certified to MIL-STD-810H and IP53 with added MIL-STD-461G EMI protection, the reinforced magnesium chassis shrugs off drops, vibration, dust, and weather across a −29°C to 60°C operating range. The 14″ WUXGA 1000-nit touchscreen—protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3—stays readable in direct sunlight and takes glove or stylus input, while the emissive backlit keyboard keeps night and in-vehicle work fast.
Modular and upgrade-ready
The FZ-56’s modular architecture provides three xPAK expansion areas plus user-replaceable battery, RAM, and caged SSD. Expansion options (sold separately) include:
